Textbook Preorder System

The Textbook Preorder System is a powerful tool to automate the selling and ordering of college textbooks. It integrates customer Web orders with store inventory, faculty requisition information and university registrar data. This information is stored in a user-friendly Web-based system that is designed to process and track textbook reservations and sales. With this information, textbook managers can generate reports that show order count versus on-hand inventory for each course and each text.

The Text Preorder System dramatically improves order-processing efficiency, increases sales potential, improves customer relations and provides increased information for inventory control and management.

TPS has been in use for three years and has contributed to record-breaking sales.

Version 2.0 is currently in development and will include new features such as semester-based reporting and email tools to manage student and faculty contacts. TPS version 2 is being designed with flexible data import options to accommodate inventory data from other textbook stores.
